A good one to know about Neil. I will admit that would probably have looked
straight past this if I was looking for a solution because of the somewhat
misleading name, but it’s good to know there are actually other solutions out
there.

Interesting timing Peter.

Yesterday I needed to open a .pub file

I actually used an online converter which is free -
I was actually surprised at how well it did the job and produced a perfect
pdf from the .pub file.

YMMV

Read/Convert MS Publisher files on your Mac

2015-12-17 Thread Peter Hinchliffe
For those of us with well-meaning Windows-afflicted friends who insist on
sending them files in the Microsoft Publisher format, help has finally arrived
in the form of a utility called “PUB Editor Pro”. Available from the App Store,
a free trial version can also be downloaded from
. It’s not cheap at around $AU80.00,
but for those who just HAVE to be able to open these files, it could be worth
every penny. Certainly, it’s the first solution I have seen that will do
ANYTHING with Publisher files, There are no reviews yet but the trial will be
worth a look.
