The Incredibles
A few weeks ago I mentioned that the installer on my copy of The Incredibles wouldn't work on OSX as promised. Being a patient and kindly man, more so in my senior years, I sent a polite email to the support address provided in the instruction leaflet. A reply came back that they were the US-Canadian distributors, and I should approach the Australian ones. Thus corrected, I sent off another email, then another, then another. There were no replies to any of them. New computer software comes with all sorts of dire warnings saying things ³If you open the package you give up all your rights.² Undeterred I rang the manager at Big W Spearwood yesterday and told him of my experience. He was sympathetic and couldn¹t have offered better service. He said bring it back with the purchase receipt and have him paged. He would authorise a full refund. So I did. Kind regards, Paul. -- Dr Paul R. Weaver http://www.livejournal.com/users/fremantlebiz/2004/
Re: The Incredibles
I was in Big W the other day and saw a Disney computer game for "The Incredibles" It has the label "Built for Mac OS X 10.2" So I parted with $38.93. Brought it home and tried to install it on one of the Macs running with OS X 10.3.9. Guess what? Its installer doesn't want to run. That's incredible. I did manage to get the program to run by clicking its Icon in MacResources, but it's buggy. Any polite suggestions would be appreciated. Best wishes, Paul. -- Dr Paul R. Weaver http://www.livejournal.com/users/fremantlebiz/2004/ Perhaps you should have bought "The Credibles" :-)
