[wtr-general] Re: watir scripts in windows scheduled task

2011-06-15 Thread chachster
I don't believe i have any js popups but I'll check that out, thanks
for the suggestion!

The weird thing is those 2 scripts seemed to work well when i had them
on another server that crashed. Now it seems i had to stop using
Timeout::Error and use Exception instead if i wanted my scripts to
email me when there was a problem. It is possible that was a problem
before and not tested properly.

The weird thing as well is even when i log off from the server where
those scripts are on, they seem to run fine but then when i shut down
my own machine at the end of the day and bring it home, the scripts
start getting issues it seems. Pretty wacky stuff!

Cheers!

2011-06-14 Thread orde
I've used windows scheduler without any major hiccups. There is a
thread in this forum that discusses scheduled watir scripts hanging
on .js popups:

http://groups.google.com/group/watir-general/browse_thread/thread/bde0ab5ef96408c2/d89d4ec8a790bc5a?lnk=gst&q=windows+scheduler#d89d4ec8a790bc5a

If the failing task deals with .js popups and the passing task
doesn't, that might be something to look at.
