MD 2007 & the Hampton Inn
Hey to all our friends that stay at the Hampton Inn, you all know if you have made your reservations for next year you were told that your credit card would be charged at the time you made your reservations, even though MD 2007 is 11 1/2 months away. Well, I called the Hilton customer service and complained, I think this is a little crazy, we love staying there but...I don't want to be charged a year in advanced as probably a lot of you don't. To make a long story short they are changing this policy, this was to be the first year for them to do this. Cindy & Trudy called me today and they asked that I send this out on the digest so everyone would know. We will be getting a letter from the Hampton stating that they are going to issue a credit back to everyone's credit card for the amount they have charged for our rooms. Hope this will make everyone fell better. I was told they had several people to cancel due to this new policy that they were going to try and do and they must have had a change of heart and nipped it before a lot of folks canceled. So if you stay at the Hampton you can make your reservations without being actually charged for it now. See what one phone call will do!!! The Big House
Another great episode was The Big House. For some strange reason, I have watched that one numerous times. It would have been so funny if they could have had a part 2 and a part 3. If the bad guys could have actually gotten away and sent Andy Griffith and Gomer on a wild goose chase, it would have been so funny. Do you think Gomer and Andy would have been able to catch those 4 city slick fellas? Perhaps Andy would have had to go back to the jail and unlock Barney and those 2 policemen so he could have more help. Poor Barney, eventhough he messes things up so much, Andy was always there so he wouldn't look so silly. Let me know your thoughts. Happy AGS Day! Thanks for all the response`s on Allan Melvin. Sorry I spelled Allan with a "e" Harriet, I will try harder next time. To me the biggest reason I come to this site is so I can interact with other Andy lovers and learn more about our show. Going to a book or website seem`s like cheating to me, my son and I like to watch and learn on my own and most of the time were right but not alway`s. I think the episode that you're seeing in the calendar picture must be "No Time for Sergeants."2007 TAGS calendar (John Frungillo)... I can't be sure without seeing it for myself, but it sure sounds like that show. If you haven't seen it, you're missing out. Go get it and enjoy.
