Newspapers on Wall issue
A few days ago we were discussing the fact that in the Fun Girls episode there was more than one newspaper article and picture of Barney on the wall. Actually there are three different articles framed and hung up..two of which have the same picture of Barney. The Cave Rescue The Bank Robbery (same picture as above) Sheriff's Department Ra This has Andy and Barney's picture on the lower right corner and I think has something to do with the crime rate. Remember that one of these comes back to haunt Barney when he is posing as the notorious Puddintame and Allen Melvin's character recognizes him. Other times we see articles posted in the back room as well. Maybe they moved them there to protect Barney's disguises. The Untrained Voice What did ever happen to ole Flower pot head, that Earnest T knocked out cold. He sure knew how to take a fall..maybe he was a cowboy on some westerns?? ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/

re: Mayberry Baseball
Where is the Mayberry baseball team going to play its home games? We've gotta build them a stadium. And nowadays,?the fad is to have a corporate sponsor to put their name on the ballpark. Here is the early list of?possible ballpark names and their associated Mayberry business sponsor: - Weaver Stadium - Foley Field - The Wally Dome (with retractable roof) - Walker Park - Floyd Lawson Enterprises Sports Entertainment Complex Milburn Drysdale, Pres. Re: WBMUTBB Digest, Vol 10, Issue 11 -- Subject: Ron Howard tv
Hi Stan, I think I must have missed some prior postings about the Ron Howard special. I have Comcast cable service with ON DEMAND. I found the special aired on TCM is available via ON DEMAND for free for the next 3 or 4 weeks. It was in the free movie section. I watched the first hour of the ~90 minute special last night. It's a great overview of Ron's career, and wonderful to hear his comments about his childhood roles and many of the nearly 20 movies he's directed. I highly recommend it if it's available on your Comcast service. Dave Lambert From: Stan Oliver olivers...@webtv.net Subject: Ron Howard tv Does anyone know if the Ron Howard special will be on again? If not did anyone tape it and would be willing to make and copy? I would pay for the trouble. I did tape it but someone erased it before I could watch it. Thanks Stan Oliver ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
Trained noticers
Debbie, I noticed that reappearing necklace too. Girlfriends, especially back then, often swapped clothing- don't know about jewelry. For some reason that necklace jumped out at me too. Boy, it's cold and snowy here in Indiana! I just returned from my regular reading circle class at our local library, and it was snowing and blowing pretty good out there! I'm ready for Spring, but to everything, there is a season. I'll not wish my life away and just continue to live in the moment! But. I'D RATHER BE IN MAYBERRY!
