Frank Smith. Ok so your Helen Crumps teacher friend from Raleigh. No big deal with me but Andys getting pretty upset about it, with your book smarts and worldly ways. Why were you sitting on the same side of the dinner table at the diner with Helen ? You and Helen were supposed to be working at the school. No books or work to be looking over seen at the diner, so why are you sitting next to Helen ? Andy even mentioned you being on the same side of the table to Helen to her, and in her tirade about her life being her own personal business didnt address the issue he brought up. So why are you sitting on the same side of the table with Helen ? Alumni Sightings!
Hi Everyone, We saw two TAGS Alumni on the Perry Mason Show. One was Fred Goss and the other was the man who played the jewel thief in "Andy and Barney in the Big City". Yes, Mayor Stoner, Parley Baer, was in Ozzie and Harriet. He played Oz's neighbor Darby, or "Darb" as Ozzie called him after Don Defore left the role of Thorny. He was in several episodes. His character was sweet, and his interaction with Ozzie was quite comical. Frank Cady played Doc Williams on the Ozzie and Harriet Show. Solved Crimes
Has anyone mentioned the two bank robbers captured trying to rob the Mayberry Security Bank at the end of the episode where Barney was Glenn Ford'n it all over the place. I may have mentioned this before, but I work for a local Police Dept. and we have a detective named Glenn Ford. I chuckle every time I hear or see his name. Also, how about the two crooks posing as the FBI Agent and the reporter in the Crime Free Mayberry episode. I was watching Family Feud this afternoon. The question was "Name a famous Andy". Well guess who was the number one answer? If you do not know I am not going to help you. But the funny thing was that was the only Andy they seemed to know, the missed the other 6. Orville Hendricks - The Butter and Egg Man - Name a Famous Orville. My guess would be Orville Wright. Mayberry in 2010
So far, the only thing different I've noticed is that the electronal marvels here in Mayberry all now seem to have bigger wires. Other than that, 2010 Mayberry is pretty much the same as the 1960's Mayberry.
