Names--thanks for help
Hey thanks everyone for pitching in on the name calling topic. We did well as a group and we will probably come up with a few more in the next few days. It all started with snoop Snoop bulb-snatcher when I wrote a quick post about 100 Watt light bulbs going away. If you get really mad at someone, and want to label them in a Mayberry way-just string together something like this: You Beasto Maresto, Nutsty Boob!. You Third Party, Child, Blabbermouth, Puddintame, Squirt, Creature, Big-Ears!! Why don't you take that kid of yours, that minor, and go up and alley and holler fish. You're some kind of a nut! I'm sure you'll feel better And you won't have cursed. Sorry for the double post the other day. I haven't been able to post from this Email that I am on 90% of the time, but now it seems to go through again. Does that make me a bucket fingers?? Travel safely home everyone, and tell us about another great Mayberry days The Untrained Voice ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/

It happened with me and Linkedin, for instance. The results were embarrassing. Watch out for that. Dixon ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/

MD 2011 Update
Well folks,I am sad to report that I am back home.I now have to face the reality that i am no longer in Mt.Airy/Mayberry.The four day escape is now a fond memory that leaves me with a lingering for MD 2012. The cast members and tribute artists were phenomenal.Mt.Airy rolled out the red carpet and treated all visitors with respect, courtesy, and gratitude. Kudos again to Jeff Koontz for all the behind scenes work he does in putting on the Silent Auction. Thanks to all the volunteers and people who donated items for the auction. And a great big thank you to the wonderful people who bid and were successful in winning the great one-of-a-kind items. The proceeds help insure we will have many, many more MD to come. I spoke with another one of our digest members,Harriet the Chicken Thief. When not in Mt.Airy, she was in the countryside scouting out chicken coops for a little five finger discout shopping. How the heck do you reckon' she acquired that moniker?Very nice lady. I look forward to hearing from other digest members giving their reports of MD 2011. Dewey in NC Someone stole a a pair of my wife's knickers from the clothes line. She is not terribly upset about the loss of her knickers, but she is quite peeved about the loss of the twelve clothes pins that held them up. ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
Mayberry Days
All: My wife and I just got back from another very successful Mayberry Days :-) Said Hi to some people we became friends with at other days and made some new friends, including Bob Mundy AKA Briscoe Darling who I have seen at many Mayberry events over the years but never formally met. Surry Arts Council did another fine job making everything happen. The scariest moment was meeting tribute artist Big Maude.:-( I gave her some bail money but not a lot. :-) All the stars from the show and the tribute artists do such a good job sharing information and helping to create a Mayberry atmosphere. It was good to see so many of the people who post on the digest when we had a brief get together after the trivia contest. Wow! What a set of questions. Already looking forward to next years Days. - The Gollywobbler ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
