Top 5 TAGS moments
Matt, Thanks for starting the discussion about the Top 5 emotional TAGS moments - hard to disagree with yours, or any of the others mentioned. It just goes to show, once again, how great writing and acting made TAGS such a classic, memorable show. One of my favorites is the end of "Opie's Hobo Friend", first when Opie asks Buddy Ebsen, his hobo friend, if he really stole Aunt Bee's purse - then left behind the fishing lure that Buddy had given him. The look on Opie's face, and Buddy's avoiding looking at Opie, or answering him, are moving scenes. Then, when Andy lets Buddy go to catch the train, and they look at each other without saying much directly - that is some great acting too. OK - My message may have been too soon!! I understand the Hotel has not released rooms for the date yet but reservations in TX has a different idea! We just have to wait until the HOTEL releases the rooms and then it will all be OK. Boy, when I mess up, it's big...REALLY big! Anyone looking for reservations for next year's Mayberry Days better get them in NOW as in Rat now!! I just called Hampton and they are already booked! I got a room at Dobson which is 10 miles off so not too bad. closer to The Depot!! So it is going to be BIG. I mean BIG...Really Big...REALLY BIG!!
