Janine, I am guessing that our Digests are arriving late because they were
stuck in Quarantine for several days. There's been a lot of that going
around lately...

Barney, badgeless (trained noticing)

2020-10-24 Thread Curt Granger
While watching "Dogs, Dogs, Dogs" this morning, I noticed that after the
"giraffes are selfish" scene, wgen they return from retrieving the dogs,
Barney doesn't have his badge on, and it's missing for the remainder of the
episode, until the epilogue, when it's back on. He's wearing it during the
giraffes scene. You can also clearly see the outline of a pack of
cigarettes in his pocket.

I'm really surprised the state inspector didn't notice. He must have been
too preoccupied with the dogs to really be inspectin'.

Those old posts from way back finally showed up! Way to go, Luther!! And
another great sighting on Tales of Wells Fargo. This time a local sheriff was
helping WF agent Jim Hardee capture some criminals who had robbed a Wells Fargo
stage. The sheriff was none other than Old Ben Weaver! And he made a good one!
It sure was funny trying to imagine Ben as sheriff or the Sheriff as Ben

It was good to read your rendition of Mayberry Days. This is only the
second time in 22 years that we have missed. The first being in 2003 with
the birth of my daughter. I knew alot of things were gonna be
different. I hate that we missed it, although parts of me are glad that
we did so we wouldn't be disappointed. But like you said, Mayberry Days
isn't about the stars that come, it's about the fans. I think we plan to
go visit either this year of early next year, and that will be nice, but
really, I'm looking forward to a normal MD next year. Let's just keep our
fingers crossed.

I wonder if the Digests would come sooner if we all used thicker computer
wires. Sometimes these electronal marvels can be troublesome.

Colonel Harvey was on a Twilight Episode. He was a con man who took his
wagon show to towns and claimed he could raise people from the dead. I
wonder if he was in Charlotte when Tom Silbey was run over by that taxi.
