However one of the main characters on TAGS mentioned the town he grew up in on an episode of the show.Which character on TAGS mentioned his real (I am talking about in real life) home town on an episode of TAGS? Well, Aneta Corsaut, who played Helen, really was from Kansas, but I don't remember the specific town that was given on the show. Everyone but Paul got the trivia question correct.I really thought the trivia question would be a little harder than that. While I was researching the question, I thought for a long time that Hope Summers (Clara Edwards) also never married, because I could find no record of her husband's name. But I finally found one site that listed her as having a couple of children, so I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt. As for your answer Paul, I hate it when you're obtuse. I had an answer for the Disney characters in Mayberry.Andy told Opie the story of Beauty and the Beast. Mike, Thanks for listening to us on the radio Thursday night in Knoxville. We had a fun time talking about Mayberry. Can you believe that one caller thought Sharon Despain was Thelma Lou made up? I dispelled that rumor real quick. ;-) As to your trivia questions, they are good ones. The house address is 2330 and the newspaper Barney was reading was the Press Herald. I asked Mr. Schwamp to verify these were correct, and he nodded, so there's your official verification. Schwamp I?listened to the interview on the radio with the Mayberry gang. I understand it was the decision of ?Dennis not to allow the ham Mr Schwump to be on the air. He would have just hogged the whole show. And he just isn't worth the pain. Great interview, THANKS to all who took part. Today's trivia: In the bully episode where Opie's milk money was taken, Barney was watching from a hole in a newspaper. What was the name of the paper? and what was the address of the house where he was sitting? I had asked what Mayberry resident had the same name as a popular rock band at the time. Hard question and a bit tricky. So now, I'll make it a little easier with a couple of hints: 1. This was the name of a recurring Mayberry character and it was the exact full name of the band. 2. The Mayberry resident was never in TAGS, but was a recurring character in Mayberry RFD.
