Everyone but Paul got the trivia question correct.I really
thought the trivia question would be a little harder than that. While I was
researching the question, I thought for a long time that Hope Summers (Clara

name. But I finally found one site that listed her as having a couple of
children, so I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt.
As for your answer Paul, I hate it when you're obtuse.

Which famous actor was born the same year, and died on the same day and year

Let's try another trivia question. We all know that there were a few
real=musicians that appeared on TAGS. The Dillards and The Country Boys for
two. I know many of you may remember a band called Spike Jones and His City
Sli=kers. They were popular on radio and TV in the 40's and 50's. They
mostly played silly songs. A member of Spike Jones' band appeared twice on Andy
in two different shows in two different roles. Can you remember the name of
this musician from Spike Jones' band who appeared on Andy?
I will give you a huge hint. His (Yes it is a man), first name was Winstead.

Mike,

Thanks for listening to us on the radio Thursday night in Knoxville. We had a
fun time talking about Mayberry. Can you believe that one caller thought Sharon
Despain was Thelma Lou made up? I dispelled that rumor real quick. ;-)

As to your trivia questions, they are good ones. The house address is 2330 and
the newspaper Barney was reading was the Press Herald.

I asked Mr. Schwamp to verify these were correct, and he nodded, so there's
your official verification.

Schwamp

I?listened to the interview on the radio with the Mayberry gang. I understand
it was the decision of ?Dennis not to
allow the ham Mr Schwump to be on the air. He would have just hogged the whole
show. And he just isn't worth the pain.
Great interview, THANKS to all who took part. Today's trivia: In the bully
episode where Opie's milk money was taken,
Barney was watching from a hole in a newspaper. What was the name of the
paper? and what was the address of the house
where he was sitting? Mike The Scamp Haviland

I had asked what Mayberry resident had the same name as a popular rock band
at the time. Hard question and a bit tricky. So now, I'll make it a little
easier with a couple of hints:

1. This was the name of a recurring Mayberry character and it was the exact
full name of the band.

2. The Mayberry resident was never in TAGS, but was a recurring character
in Mayberry RFD.

Sure, it would be easy to look it up, but I'd like to see if someone can
come up with it on their own.
