T-Shirts

2007-05-19 Thread Gary Wedemeyer
Hey folks,

Just a quick note to let you know we have some cool new t-shirts on the
Mayberry Emporium web site:

http://www.mayberryemporium.net/html/slogan_t-shirts.html

I need some of you more creative minds out there to give me some neat TAGS
sayings I could use. Please don't respond to the Digest and clutter it up. You
can email me thru the Emporium Web site or at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

As always, if you are looking for that special gift for that "Goober" in your
life, please shop at Weaver's Department Store:
http://www.weaversdepartmentstore.com/

They have a great new Mayberry-opoly Game shipping sometime next month. It
promises to be the next big Mayberry Collectible.

By shopping at Weaver's you help support many, many Mayberry related happenings
that we all get to enjoy throughout the year. Jim Clark and the folks at
Weaver's work very hard to bring you the best Mayberry items at the best
Mayberry prices.

Then, if you are looking for that little something extra, stop by the Mayberry
Emporium and say "Howdy!"

Thanks and I hope to see all of my Mayberry Friends sometime in the coming
months.

TAGS, T-Shirts, and Sherlock Holmes???

2006-08-21 Thread Danny Taylor
Just got my 15th anniversary T shirt from Cafe press today. It looks great and
the material seems to be quality stuff.
Thanks Alan. Can't wait to wear it to work on Friday. (jeans and t shirt day)

On another note who would have ever thought someone would be able to link TAGS
and Sherlock Holmes but I did last night. I have a few of the Sherlock Holmes
movies from the 40's on DVD and was watching one last night with Basil Rathbone
and Nigel Bruce playing the two lead characters. Watson had rushed out of the
house to help someone who was sick and just as he leaves Sherlock starts
playing the violin. It took a few seconds to be sure but I knew I had heard the
melody he was playing and then it hit me.. It was good old 14A The
greeting the sweet springtime song.
Luckily he didn't go flat.

No. The only way to get the WBMUTBB Chapter items will be to order them
from the web store. If they were to be sold at an event like that, it
would mean I (or somebody else) would have to buy several of them and
*hope* they would sell. As it is now, they make the items as you order
'em so there's no "up front" cost to me to provide 'em. I'm pretty
cheap so buying from the site is all we can offer. Shipping is only $5
per ORDER so order several things and you'll save money.

http://www.cafepress.com/wbmutbb

Hey folks,

I wanted to let you know, if you're thinking of ordering a WBMUTBB
Chapter Sweatshirt you *may* want to wait until sometime in early
September. I just got a note telling me that they are adding "white" as
a color choice in sweatshirts beginning in early September. The current
sweatshirt is "ashe gray" so the "white" parts of the WBMUTBB image
shows as shirt color. When they go to a white color choice, you'll get
what you're expecting.

I just wanted to make sure you knew about this before you order now and
later find out you could have gotten White.

We've had 5 folks order so far. I'd like to hear from all of you
directly ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) after you get the products you ordered. I
just want to make sure you're all as happy with the items as I was.

Take care!!

WBMUTBB 15th Anniversary T-shirts and MORE.

2006-08-11 Thread Allan Newsome
Hey folks,

You asked for it and you're getting it. I have set up a store at
"CafePress.com" with all kinds of selections in regard to t-shirts,
sweatshirts, and other items with the NEW WBMUTBB designs on them.

http://www.cafepress.com/wbmutbb

There are 5 adult and 3 kids t-shirts to choose from as well as an adult
hooded, regular, and kids sweatshirt.

You'll also have a choice of 15th Anniversary mousepad, coaster, clock,
cap, tote bag, and postcards.

I already ordered a "White T-shirt," "15th Anniversary Coaster," "15th
Anniversary Tote Bag," and "15th Anniversary Wall Clock" just to make
sure the quality is good and let me tell you...I'm happy with 'em all.

The image is transfered to the shirts by "direct printing" which to me
looks like screen printing. We, well actually Jan, washed my tee last
night to see if it faded and it did NOT fade. The image on the back is
not quite a dark as I'd like but it looks VERY good and since it didn't
fade I'm more than happy to go ahead and say it's good to go.

The Wall Clock and the Tile Coaster look GREAT. The print on both of
them are clear and very pretty. I haven't ordered the "Tile box" but
I'm guessing it'll be the same quality as the Tile Coaster so I can
recommend it as well.

The Tote Bag looks good but please keep in mind that both the tote and
the sweatshirts are not 'white' so any 'white' on the graphic will be
the color of the tote or sweatshirt. It still looks good but just keep
that in mind. The 7th Season of TAGS would look great if carried around
in the WBMUTBB tote bag.

I want to thank Sam White for the graphic we're using on the Wall Clock
and the front of the shirts!! Sam did a GREAT job and I'm very thankful.

I created the design you'll see on the back of the shirts, on the
mousepad, and the postcards. I wanted to keep the design similar to our
last set of WBMUTBB shirts but I did update it in several ways so I hope
you'll like it. I didn't want to change it too much because I wanted to
have a consistent feel to our Chapter Tees.

All that said, drop by our store and order what you'd like but REMEMBER
to order everything Mayberry from Weaver's Department Store
(http://www.WeaversDepartmentStore.com) as they are the one's the keep
Mayberry.com and all this Digest going.

http://www.cafepress.com/wbmutbb

Enjoy!!!

2006-07-27 Thread Janet Anderson
Hey, gang, I've had an exchange going with Allan about the T-shirts Bob
proposed to commemorate WBMUTBB?'s 15th anniversary, and Allan tells me that
I'M THE ONLY ONE SO FAR WHO'S SHOWED INTEREST IN THE T-SHIRTS!!! Now, surely
there are many more of you who would buy a shirt honoring our favorite show and
our wonderful club, right? I still have the last shirt Allan made available,
and it is a very nice quality shirt that I am proud to wear. I would like for
Allan to make another shirt available for purchase, but Allan says he needs
enough folks to express their interest in order for such an undertaking to be
feasible.

Now, maybe you would like to have a WBMUTBB? shirt--and who wouldn't, after
all?--but you didn't bother to e-mail Allan to tell him so. Well, take a
minute right now (no, don't put it off!) and e-mail Allan at [EMAIL
