The Taylor Home Inn Bed & Breakfast

2011-04-25 Thread Jeff Gossett
My wife and I just spent a wonderful weekend at the Taylor Home Inn Bed
& Breakfast in Clear Lake, WI. Walking in the front door you find
yourself transported to Mayberry NC and standing right in Andy Taylor's
living room. Marsha & Dave Scheuermann have done an unbelievable job
with the house and it's was an experience we will never forget. Marsha
was the most gracious host and her breakfast & deserts dishes were
absolutely wonderful. If you ever have the opportunity to stay there
don't pass it up, it's must for the true Mayberry fan. A BIG thank you
goes out to Dave and Marsha for what they have done to help keep
Mayberry alive!

The Taylor Home Inn and Ken Anderson

2010-11-09 Thread david browning

Hello Friends,

Well, I have finally stayed at the Taylor Home Inn in Clear Lake Wisconsin.
What a joy it was for Patty and I to spend some time with Dave and Marcia. If
you haven't been yet you need to plan a trip right away. The web site is
www.taylorhomeinn.com

We also stopped in Eau Claire WI and visited for a few minutes with Ken
Anderson and he is just as nice in person as he is on the bulletin board here.
Wish we could've stayed longer but had to move on. Thanks Dave, Marcia and Ken
for helping make my first visit to Wisconsin one i'll never forget.

The "Taylor Home Inn"

2008-06-27 Thread Kathy Hinkley
My husband Steve and I just got home from our trip to Wisconsin and 2 days
at the "Taylor Home Inn".

If you haven't been there yet, you surely are missing something!!! Dave and
Marsha Scheuermann have done such

A nice job--you can almost imagine Andy and Barney coming in the door,
or Opie down the steps!!

We stayed in Andy's room, and there is Bee's room and Opies room also to
choose from. In the morning we were called to breakfast by Marsha, in her
"special" way, and had two days

Of breakfasts that were ummm-ummm good!! Marsha (Aunt Bee) is an excellent
cook and such a gracious hostess!!! She really

Made our stay an experience we won't forget!! She is just what I imagine a
"Mayberrian" would be like!! We met Dave briefly, (He's a funeral director,
who while we were there was quite busy),

And he was just as nice. Oh, and I can't forget "Elly"!! She'll just
steal your heart!! (Won't tell you who she is---don't want to spoil the
fun)!!

Suffice it to say, we plan to go again!!

Thanks Marsha and Dave for coming up with your idea and so much for the
wonderful time we had there!!

Oh and you can go into the family room and watch "TAGS" to your hearts
content!!

It's well worth the drive!!

Thanks again, Marsha and Dave!!
