or in the WO Community podcasts feed in iTunes (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=270165303

WOWODC 2008 videos

2009-01-19 Thread bdappwodev
Pascal,

I'm disabled and it would have been impossible for me to get to WOWODC, so
I really appreciate the effort people went in organizing WOWODC and in
making the videos.

I paid for the WOWODC videos a few days ago, but I don't know where to go
to download them. BTW, somehow I missed the first announcement on the
list that they were ready. Maybe it is worth re-announcing them?

Also, unless one knows they exist, they are not immediately obvious on the
wocommunity.org site (I had to search the site via Google to find the
page).

Best wishes,

Bernard Devlin

Well, we have less than stellar sales for the 2008 recordings, so it
look like it will only have interest people from Iceland for a
webcast... So much efforts for so little results...

[Reminder] WOWODC 2008: one-day pass now available

2008-04-29 Thread Pascal Robert

Good morning everyone,

don't forget to register for WOWODC 2008! If you register before May
5th, you get a free (and nice) CodeFab t-shirt! People who already
registered will also get a t-shirt.

If you were waiting for the schedule and the official sessions list,
you can see it here:

http://www.wocommunity.org/wowodc08/schedule.html

For people who can't join us on the Saturday but can join us on the
Sunday, you can buy a one-day pass for the Sunday (June 8th) for $225.

WOWODC is a great way to support the great people who are contributing
to the community, and it's a great way to learn about new techniques.

And if you fear that topics are too much advanced, don't worry. We
are starting a buddies program, where you can match up with a more
experienced WO developer that can help you understand the topics we
are discussing. If you need a buddy, or that you want to be a buddy,
drop me a note. A Web page for the buddies program will be up later
this week.

See you on June 7th!

I thought the final session list was up, but I don't see any links. I
