no, you should fill into the title field the full name of the file:

e.g. if the name is "english_dictionary.oxt"
you had to fill in this name including the file extension. That's all.

I tested my above explanation with the file name including the file extension
and it
works for me in three different browsers. It works also with the new projects
from
Leif on the extensions site. Many thanks to him for trying this out.

Andreas

P.S.: If someone offers me more spare time and a helping developer, there will
be
some improvements asap. But I think the first is not realistic ;-)

[libreoffice-website] patch guidelines on http://www.libreoffice.org/get-involved/developers/

2011-11-21 Thread Lionel Elie Mamane
Hi,

http://www.libreoffice.org/get-involved/developers/ tells people to
use "git diff". Please point people to
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Patch_Handling_Guideline
and/or tell them to use "git format-patch" rather than telling them to
use "git diff".

Thanks.

A good balanced text could be:

Edit the files in rawbuild/, and use git format-patch to
extract changes to mail to libreoff...@lists.freedesktop.org (don't be
shy, and please mention your code is contributed under the LGPLv3+ /
MPL). See the wiki page http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Patch_Handling_Guidelines";>Patch
Handling Guidelines for details.

OK fixed.

please use the "link on this site" feature,

Yes of course ;-)

Thanks for answering.

(BTW: the guy mentioning the error was quite enthusiastic about the CMS
and is going to have a deeper look in the next vacation.)

Cheers

Nope, either a copy'n'paste mistake. There is no magic concerning
this. It is entered like this in your page's content. So it is some
editing error that happened at some point.

No, don't user http:// - when linking to your own subsite, please use
the "link on this site" feature, i.e. use the link-button in the
editor to change the link to your download page.

[libreoffice-website] download button

2011-11-21 Thread Cor Nouws

Hi,

Someone warns me that the download button at nl.libreoffice.org is broken.

I see in the html: href="http:///download/";>
Should that do some magic for the nl download sites, or sould I just
change it to http://nl.libreoffice.org/download/ ?

Thanks!
