[weewx-user] Re: "not reporting" after power outage

2017-02-28 Thread Steve Dulmes
Thanks for taking the time to respond. I have the console plugged in to
wall current to try to avoid that very thing.

Thanks for help. I unplugged the USB as you suggested, and now it is
reporting again!

Thanks, Bill. I am not tech savvy enough to understand everything you said,
but it sounds like it should work for me. I appreciate your time in
answering this. I will check out eBay and see what they have.

[weewx-user] Re: Integration with Alexa

2017-01-06 Thread Steve Dulmes
Has anyone had any success with the Amazon Echo with weewx data. I would
like to be able to ask Alexa for the temperature, wind chill, how much rain
we had today, etc. Would this be done with IFTTT?
Thanks.

[weewx-user] Re: How do I edit the weewx.conf file?

2017-01-05 Thread Steve Dulmes
OK, next question.
I checked on my iPhone and iPad WU app and it says my station has stopped
reporting.
BUT, on the WU website it is still connected and updating the data.
Any ideas?
I do have Rapidfire turned on. Could there be an issue with that/
Thanks again.

Success! Thanks for the help.

My next question... any suggestions for the best way for an old guy to
learn Python? Youtube? Favorite books?
I have a bit of experience with BASIC from a long time ago. That's it.
Thanks.
