I've post yesterday a text in OpenSer tracker about it:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1793928&group_id=139143&atid=743020

Note the "SIP Forum" quoted phrase:
"SIP Proxy Servers MUST use canonical hostnames in any 'Via:' and/or
'Route:' SIP header field that it inserts in the SIP message.":

So I think WengoPhone shouldn't include a useless but painfull "Route:
sip_domain" header in REGISTER. In fact, as Juha said in OpenSer list "that
kind of route header uri does not provide any added value to request
uri". So, why to include it? it just causes problems in a correct SIP
configuration system.

Regards.

The problem is that it forces me to write in conf file all the domains, and to
restart OpenSer after adding a new domain.
I've "domain" module so I store domains in a table without the need of
restarting OpenSer.

Maybe I could only apply "loose_route" if the message is not a REGISTER, but
it seems to modify my OpenSer conf just because the behaviour of a client
(WengoPhone).

Thanks for your help.

Hi!

Is is called a pre-defined route set. Although in this case the Route
header is not necessary it is still valid.

In your case, adding "alias=mydomain.com" to openser.cfg should solve
your problems. (Because loose_route() will detect that the Route is
itself, will remove the route header and then return "false")

Because there have not been replies (not for any of the bug/suggestion I've
reported) I'd like to tell it here since IMHO is an important issue:
