Dear all,
My sincere condolences to the bereaved family. It is indeed very unfortunate. I
concur with Adrale that this issue needs a follow up and justice need to be
done. Indeed this is definately not an isolated case. We need help from our
learned brothers and sisters in such moments. I am happy that Caleb witnessed
and hope some thing comes up in the follow up.

Thanks

Christine

Dear All,

My sincere condolences to the bereaved family and Mr. Imbati.

It's our prayer the authorities work hard to bring the murderers to book and
indeed this may not be an isolated case. There are many workers suffering
silently out there and living in fear under the constant threat of their so
called employers, in many cases, foreign employers. Perhaps it's high time the
police opened a squad specifically for handling cases of abuse of workers
through which the latter can receive speedy justice and curb the rampant
offenses of abuse of workers. Otherwise left unchecked, we may witness more of
the mob actions like the recent one at Arua Park in reaction to the murder of
the Late Orodriyo.

Although no compensation amounts to restoration of life, let's keep up the
vigil
to ensure justice for the bereaved.

Thank you Caleb and James for witnessing the trying moment of exhuming the
remains.

Dear all,

Richard Embati (of Mulago Hospital) asked me to inform net members that the
body
of his cousin Denis Orodriyo, a former worker at an Asian Shop at Arua Park,
who
was killed mysteriously several days ago, was found today buried in the same
grave with four other corpses.

Police detectives and relatives exhumed the body from the KCC cemetery in
Kirinya, east of Kampala, after it was positively identified by the father, Mr
Tom Adriko, a custodian at Makerere University Chemistry Lab.

Attorney Caleb Alaka and James Nyakuni witnessed the exhumation. Postmortem
report showed Orodriyo died of brain injuries after his skull was cracked with
a
hit. The body will spend the night at Mulago mortuary and a vigil at the
father's home in Makerere University Estates staff quarters (accessible
through
the East Gate).

For further directions, other details and condolence message, call either
Embati
Richard on 0782 446 106 or the late's dad Tom on 0701 738 566.

Dear Members,

My friends, we know death is a fact in human life. If it is a natural
phenomenon/occurance, we feel sad but when it is caused murder, we are
extremely grieved. Natural questions that come into our minds would be who did
it? Why was it done? Why in a mass grave? etc. I pray, that time has to come
when these and such questions be answered in the sad event of our brother
Orodriyo's death in the appropriate fora.

Indeed, I am heartly grieved and add my voice to many of you who have expressed
their condolences to the family of late Orodriyo and relatives like Dr. Embati
and James Nyakuni. Must our society continue to experience such unfortunate
events? May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Thank you Alaka and James for witnessing the exhumation.
