[Wicket-user] mount question

2007-03-23 Thread Manuel Alejandro de Brito Fontes
Hi, I'm trying to mount some pages so the URL is more user friendly.
Now, what I have to do for resources like images and css?. I have a
images directory in the root of webapp and the css file is in the
root to.
One thing is move all at the same level of a java class and mount there.
Other can be use a wicket resource and replace the path to the file
in the html template.
Is any other more simple that not implies modify the html templates?.

Thanks in advice.

PS: the wiki show examples of mountSharedResource but I don't known
if this is what I need.

What you did is interesting, I thought about writing something like

display/STUFFWIKI/DojoValidationAjaxHandler
My problem was that the validation only works until I submit the
form, the indicator only appears after the submit of the form and
the message of the caption contains all the errors of the feedback.
So I create a validation that not depends on dojo, indicate the
error of the validation, show the alerticon on fail and persist
after the submit of the form.

If is useful to someone, here attach a quick-start.
To use it add the behavior to any field, i.e.: Form field.add
(new FormFieldValidator(ClientEvent.event));
The code works on 2.0-SNAPSHOT (I don't use 1.x, so I don't known
the API changes).

PS: Thanks for so powerful and flexible framework and sorry for my
bad english.

[Wicket-user] FormComponent mask

2007-02-28 Thread Manuel Alejandro de Brito Fontes
Hi, I have a question about field mask, It's possible do something
like this: http://www.zapatec.com/website/ajax/zpform/demo/mask.html
or similar to http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/
components/formattedtextfield.html in wicket?
I miss something in the documentation?. I only found the IConverter
interface doing override of the method getConverter(Class? type) in
a TextField declaration. The problem is that getConverter() modify my
model and I don't want that.

Re: [Wicket-user] FormComponent mask

2007-02-28 Thread Manuel Alejandro de Brito Fontes
Yes, I'ts simple, the problem is when I modify the content of the
textfield the value of the object is with the mask, not the value
behind.
For instance, I have a textfield that only accept integer numbers
(thats is easy with new PatternValidator( \\d+ ) ), now I want that
the user enter the number 100 and in the event onblur occur
apply a mask to the number, i.e 1,000,000 or when I write the number
going applying the mask inline. All that works perfect with
javascript, but the problem is what happens behind that. The number
is not 100 it's 1,000,000, so if exist a validation between two
fields i'm screw, I have to know if the field contains a mask or not.
In addition if I do formcomponent.validate() and formcomponent.isValid
() returns false.
The explication is confused or I'm confused?

Re: [Wicket-user] TextTemplateHeaderContributor

2006-11-18 Thread Manuel Alejandro de Brito Fontes
Thanks for the reply. That works perfect, my fault. I think that add
(...) belongs to 1.x, and no that is a IBehavior.
One detail about add(TextTemplateHeaderContributor.forCss
( Spinner.class,Spinner.css, new Model( (Serializable) cssMap ) ));
is that the code is incorporated in the head of the html writing the
code.
I create an alternative

new StyleSheetReference( this, spinnerCSS,
new ResourceReference( Spinner.css, spinnerCSS.css ) {

private static final long serialVersionUID =
-5001445753978421349L;

@Override
protected Resource newResource() {

final PackagedTextTemplate template = new
PackagedTextTemplate( Spinner.class, Spinner.css );
template.interpolate( cssMap );

final Resource oResult = new Resource() {

private static final long
serialVersionUID = 0L;

@Override
public IResourceStream
getResourceStream() {
return new StringResourceStream
( template.asString() );
}
};

 return oResult;
 }
}

and

wicket:head
link type=text/css wicket:id=spinnerCSS/link
/wicket:head

in the markup.

Is not simple like TextTemplateHeaderContributor, but in the renderer
html is more clean.

Again, thanks for the reply.

 Ok, i understand that, but the column don't read my own markup in
 a panel.
 I only get Markup with path '' not found in fragment: cell

 Can show me an example?

 Thanks in advice.

 see how PropertyColumn works...but instead of a label you add your
 panel that contains the image

[Wicket-user] Component communication

2006-10-05 Thread Manuel Alejandro de Brito Fontes
I am new to wicket. So far i don't have problems creating simple pages.So i see the AjaxFallbackDefaultDataTable example and I like start sing it. Doing basic operations works great, remove rows without problems (as example).After that i think that it can be possible encapsulate the table and no repeat that code again.So, what the problem?I have one page that contains a table (the encapsulated) and a SortableDataProvider for the table. One column in the table contains an AjaxLink.I expect that when a press a column in a row eliminate the content from the table and execute one spring service (declared in the page, no in the table) that delete the record from a database.Anyone can help me to understand how can i do that?PS: The Spring integration works fine and if I write all the code in one page the access to the dao delete the record.	 In the mailing list I see posted a question about inter-component updates (http://www.nabble.com/Wicket-way-of-doing-%28inter-%29component-updates--tf2139401.html#a5904185) but no clear answer come out.-
