I was in NO way suggesting to have them added to $wgFileExtensions. It is very reasonable to not add them there. The suggestion was solely to add them to mime.types, so if the sysadmin chooses to add them to $wgFileExtensions it will actually work. It is important to allow users to upload images in one or both of these file formats, for the following reasons: * HDRI is a rapidly developing field, and it is expected that HDR images will become far more common in the following years. * To my knowledge, there are no HDR images on the web which have been published under a free license, nor are they allowed by Flickr. Allowing HDR images would be a great opportunity for Commons to establish itself as the main source for them. * At the moment, we only have a category for tonemapped HDR images (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:HDR_images). Most of these images were obviously generated using a bad tone mapping operator or simplistic image processing techniques, as can be seen from the halo artefacts. With HDR images, users could not only recover the full dynamic range of photos and computer graphics, and change the exposure without any loss, but also use any tone mapping operator they want. One issue is the preview/downscaled image to provide. The API occasionally returns 'WrongPass' for a login attempt despite the
password sent being correct. Based on what I am doing at the time I think this
is due to the login throttle being activated somehow.
Desired behavior:
* The login throttle should never be tripped as long as no incorrect password
is ever sent.
* When the login throttle is tripped, the error should not be WrongPass.
Query sent:

It happens intermittently, and I cannot seem to make it happen by just logging in very fast. But since the bot is reading the same file for the password each time, and based on the debugging output, the password being sent is correct. At the top of the table, there are headers with buttons that allow for sorting of the table based on the column you select. If you press one of those buttons (the one for Smart Antenna) for instance, you'd expect to see the same table, sorted by the contents of that column. It does produce a table, but it's not sorted by anything obvious, and the table structure starts to break down part way down the page (too many/not enough columns, wrong data in columns, etc).
