https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20378 --- Comment #3 from Bawolff bawolff...@gmail.com 2009-08-28 18:22:39 UTC --- Since most of the problems being experienced are a result of a vandal blanking a page, and then getting subsequently reverted, would the following scheme work: If you have two revisions of the same page (one being the current revision, the other being some previous revision), which both have the exact same categories, make it possible for admins to set the cl_timestamp to the revision date of the earlier revision. That way there isn't just random garbage in the field, its value is a value that would have been valid at one point (In essence admins would be able to revert the field to a previous value if the categories are the same between the two revisions in question). [Bug 20275] LIKE is completely broken for SQLite
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20275 --- Comment #13 from Max Semenik maxsem.w...@gmail.com 2009-08-28 19:31:33 UTC --- (In reply to comment #12) (In reply to comment #9) (In reply to comment #8) appears to be a mysqlism, in SQLite it looks two times more sane:D Then SQLite needs to do more overriding of escapeLike(). We should check how other databases behave -- if MySQL is the odd one out, the base method should be changed. Nope, PosgtreSQl also needs four. I was unable to find any mention for SQLite, so minus point for poor documentation seems to go to SQLite (two points if the behaviour is actually different). Results of die(wfGetDb(DB_MASTER)-addQuotes(wfGetDb(DB_MASTER)-escapeLike('foo_bar'))): * SQLite: 'foo\_bar' * MySQL: 'foo\\_bar' Both seem to work as inteneded (and produce the same results when run from within MW). After further experiments in PhpMyAdmin I discovered that SELECT * FROM page WHERE page_title LIKE 'M_in\\_P%' works indistinguishable from SELECT * FROM page WHERE page_title LIKE 'M_in\_P%' Quirks mode against double-escaping? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 19153] Enable dng uploads on Commons
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19153 --- Comment #12 from Derrick Coetzee d...@moonflare.com 2009-08-29 04:15:14 UTC --- OpenEXR is nice, but it was designed by ILM primarily for digital rendering. The idea of using it to represent camera raw image files is speculative at best, and there are no existing converters as far as I know from any proprietary camera raw format to OpenEXR, which makes that idea completely untenable. The developers on the OpenEXR list even recommended the use of DNG instead of OpenEXR (e.g. see this thread: http://www.mail-archive.com/openexr-de...@nongnu.org/msg00722.html). DNG is designed specifically for this purpose, has mature supported converter tools, and an open specification; and there is at least one DNG converter for Linux available, Digikam (http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/373). Just as importantly, all DNG files are valid TIFF files, which can be read by any application supporting TIFF (although they'll look dark and not too pretty). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug.
