https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34667 --- Comment #2 from Brion Vibber 2012-02-27 21:05:12 UTC --- It looks like the drop target is pretty small; if you end up dropping too far outside the actual *button*, the browser will load the image directly into the browser window instead of passing it on to the web page's drag n drop handlers. Visual feedback on the drop target during drag operations would likely help here -- it's not obvious that you're meant to drop exactly *on* the button, as buttons don't normally behave that way. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. Actually there is a problem with this function (see bug 34631) so images cannot be displayed. This is the reason why it looks so odd. The error messages that you have attached, have nothing to do with this problem. They sometimes occur when a page has been deleted. This is also bug that needs to be fixed. To be more specific, the application's behaviour will change as follows: - The link's title attribute will remain unchanged (for tooltips) - The image's alt attribute will contain the text "tooltip-ca-nstab-media" by default - Depending on the existence of a caption text the file name will be added to the alt attribute. If there is a caption available, the file name won't be added. - The zoom icon's alt attribute doesn't have an alt attribute at all. I propose the attached patch to set a describing "View the media page" (tooltip-ca-nstab-media in MessagesXx.php) as the alternative text and to integrate all elements leading to the file description page into just one link. [Bug 4366] Category history should show past subcategories
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4366 --- Comment #8 from Anton 2012-02-27 10:59:04 UTC --- Yes, log-file of additions/_deletions_ from category is quite desirable. May be it can be only for limited number of categories or some categories (most populated, like "persons by alphabet") should be excluded from tracking. But such tracking is very useful. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug.
