Marostegui added a comment. @Smalyshev - the indexes have been removed from the API hosts. The queries on those two servers (db2080 and db2081) now take around 0.05 sec to run. Can you check if this makes a difference from your end?. And how can it be fixed? WDQS poller depends on RC API, and having it take 30+ seconds instead of usual sub-second response time is a serious issue. The problem is with the API hosts in codfw. They have an index that the eqiad slaves do not have, and looks like they are messing up with the optimizer and getting the query to run for long. Krinkle closed this task as "Resolved".Krinkle claimed this task.Krinkle added a comment. mw.util.addPortletLink is a method of the mw.util singleton, which needs to be ensured by any code that uses it by declaring a deepndency on mediawiki.util. When that is done, the system automatically makes sure that that is loaded before executing the rest of the code. This is working as intended. I can not reproduce this in background tabs in Safari, Firefox or Chrome. If you see it again, please create a new task, and ideally with a "stack trace". You can find the stack trace by clicking the < triangle next to the error message. I also made a quick script to fetch a list of lexemes linking to the language items and compared it to a list of all lexemes. I am a bit confused by now - is the original problem because recentchanges is using a wrong host, or it's using right host and the indexes there are wrong, or something else? And how can it be fixed? TASK DESCRIPTIONBefore deploying the SDC baseline, we need to be sure that vandalism and spam is caught. Two important mechanisms for that are AbuseFilter and SpamBlacklist. Wikibase should provide automatic integration with these via the EditFilterHookRunner class, which should work for all Wikibase edits, regardless of MCR. It's probably completely out of the scope of this, but let's mention it anyway: I think it would be massively useful for revision scoring if we could have access to both the current violation report and the one for the previous revision. So that we could compute the new violations each edit introduced or solved. (Pinging @Tpt about that). But I suspect storing the violations reports for all revisions of a given item might require too much storage? But you would also have to look through all of the Wikibase extensions etc. And they are not all grouped together in the i18n files anyway. I am not requesting a stable interface policy or anything like that - it's great that these auto summaries become more informative!
