Awesome!! This is really a good work. It looks like the wikimedia India chapter is changing into the top gear now. Applause for all those who worked behind this. This is an awesome development. Real infrastructure building. All these make for ease of use of Indian wikis especially for a polyglot people like we are. Re: [Wikimediaindia-l] [WMIN-Members] New Wikimedia India Portals
Hi all, On behalf of the Wikimedia India chapter, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped this initiative. The job is not complete and the portals still need lots of tweaking and improvements. If the efforts of Naveen are left unmentioned, it would be very unfair. The Wikimedia Project Gateways is essentially the brain child and one of the dream projects of our Secretary, Naveen Francis. I am sure he wouldn't allow me to tell it here if asked, but I have to confess that Naveen had even invested lots of his personal money in obtaining the domains too. His efforts in getting this work done is really applaudable. Thank you, Naveen everyone. We sincerely hope that you will find these portals useful and informative.
