I shall be at Birkbeck College this afternoon with a few other
Wikiexpert chums, training professionals in the dark arts of Wikipedia.
I expect my presence to have the same crowd pulling effect as Jimbo.

My particular train of though at the moment surrounded the
establishment (re-establishment, IIRC) of a student society suitable
for Wikimedians in Oxford. So yes :)

If all goes well, yes. The establishment of a society would also help
 ensure participation in inter-collegiate competitions.

If it's any help, we do have about 500 donors from the city of Oxford, and
there are also members of WMUK from Oxford. I can't tell you who they are,
but if you're planning an event or something similar, I can email them and
ask them to contact you?

 Hey all,

I can't believe I haven't asked this before, but are any lurkers on
this list either (a) members of the University of Oxford (b)
offer-holders from the University of Oxford? Or does anyone know any
Wikimedians who fit either of those descriptions but aren't on this
list? (Feel free to message me offlist in either case.)

It might also be useful in future to know if there are any active
Wikimedians currently studying at Oxford Brookes.

 Thanks,
 Harry
