Mozilla says you shouldn't comment on bugs only to say "please fix it" - you should vote instead. In my work we keep truck of how many clients wants the bug to get fixed (you might say - vote for a bug). The more people vote for a bug the more severe the bug is then you might think at first. The more severe the bug is the more probable it is to be pushed into the next version. And priority is more or less - how fast this should be done when working on a new version (which is mostly a developer preference). As long as it's there, people will think that we do. This mass change should have been discussed somewhere first, but then i never understood why voting is bad.
