RE: [WISPA] 6 Ghz Questions
Regarding the 6 GHz license, you could just recoordinate on that frequency...the only person who would object would be the license holder, who shouldn't if you're buying the radios / license from them =) -Charles -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Gino Villarini Sent: Sunday, October 14, 2007 11:07 AM To: WISPA General List Subject: RE: [WISPA] 6 Ghz Questions Well that's what I thought, but due to the limited availability of 6ghz in the area, I might up end empty handed!. 1. yes 2. licenses are done on a per-site basis...since you are moving the site, it would be treated as a new license (there is a possibility that you could "claim" rounding error for the path move, but I would imagine it is more than likely that a tower large enough to hold solid parabolic 6' would be registered already under the FCC with a call sign and then that would be almost impossible to pull off) 3. yes -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Gino Villarini Sent: Sunday, October 14, 2007 10:53 AM To: WISPA General List; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [WISPA] 6 Ghz Questions Hey List I don't have much experience with licensed 6 ghz so I have the following question based on this scenario: I have the opportunity to acquire a couple of underused 6ghz microwave paths.
