RE: [WIRELESS-LAN] Cisco Unified Wireless Release
I was told that the 7.1.91.0 is same as 7.0.220.0 except it adds support for the new 3600 ap. Lots of good bug fixes in the 7.0.220.0 release, but there is no NCS version that is TAC supported for either of these code releases. WCS 7.0.220.0 does support this code though. I'm told that the next NCS release MR2 will support these codes and is coming soon. Re: [WIRELESS-LAN] Cisco Unified Wireless Release
On a related note, I've discovered a blog (http://revolutionwifi.blogspot.com/2011/07/cisco-live-2011-wireless-security-recap.html) that claims the Cisco 4400 series controllers will not be supported beginning with version 7.2. Can anyone confirm this? Can anyone confirm this? I didn't see the 7.1.91.0 code available on the download site for any controller but the 5508, so asked our Cisco SE. According to him, 7.1.91.0 requires 5508 controllers. I'm assuming that also applies to any higher version. ** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/groups/.
