Hi,

Before I start designing it, has anyone created
in Witango, a month events calendar where the
month display is built on the fly and the dates
are hyperlinks to that day's events.
Here is an example of what I am looking for
built using coldfusion:

Witango-Talk: Purgecache not purging anything

2005-12-20 Thread Dave Machin

We're having trouble getting Purgecache to actually
purge our server's cache.  We'll post a revised file and purge the cache,
but the original file is still served.

We're running 5.5.009 on W2K Server

We're trying to purge the entire server cache, not
a particular folder.  The witango events log shows that files were
purged.  Once the page did not respond and after about 5 minutes we got a
"605" error message.

Here's what we're doing:

<@ASSIGN user$configPasswd value="password">
<@PURGECACHE PATH="/">
Events log shows entries like this:[ 1868] 2005-12-20 10:12:22
RUNTIME    INFO Application File Cache:
Purging 9 files from domain ebay.benchmarkportal.com
Are we doing something wrong?

RE: Witango-Talk: calendar display

2005-12-20 Thread Hamrin Brian Thor

The calendar site at Illinois State University www.calendar.ilstu.edu  is in
Tango 2000. The monthly calendar on the left is done using _javascript_. There was
a design reason for using _javascript_ but at this time I don't remember what it
was. It might have been wanting to allow someone to pick a month without a round
trip to the server.

This site allows authorized users to enter events for
their respective areas and also allows non-authorized users to enter an event
and have it approved by an administrator.

This is some code I
threw together for one project. There are some notes at the top about what
variables to have available. The calendar it makes is kind of small, but it
should be a good starting point for you.
