Re: [wsjt-devel] WSJT Developers Guide

2014-10-16 Thread Joe Taylor
Hi Alessandro,

You are correct: the posted version of file wsjt-dev-guide.html is very
old, and has now been deleted. I have posted instead a current copy of
http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/wsjtx-doc/dev-guide-main.html

It is not complete, but is currently the best we have.

Thanks for catching the typo in the source file environment.adoc, also!

Hi Joe,

There's several image links that are broken on this posting. Did you
build the DATA-URI version or linked image version?

I have lots of updates yet to do but got side tracked with building the
WSJT-X package.

Re: [wsjt-devel] WSJT Developers Guide

2014-10-16 Thread ki7mt
Hi Richard,

Thanks for pointing this out. The Special Instruction under Windows
CMake needs to be removed completely. JTSDK-QT now has ( after Updating
with JTSDK-DOC ) a resent build of Hamlib3 (Bill's Integration).

Unless there is a development need to build and test, build then re-test
(on Windows), the version that resides within JTSDK-QT should be
adequate for most users.

I have a build method that seems to be working, which will be added to
the Hamlib3 Special Instructions section as time allows.

Re: [wsjt-devel] mailto links in docs.

2014-10-16 Thread KI7MT
Hi Bill,

How about I just change that to: wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net
in the Links document, then anywhere your callsign mailto: is used, it
will display the wsjt-devel address ?

 Hi Greg,

I notice that the JTSDK docs have an unobsfucated email link to my email
address. I would prefer that not to be so and that support emails be
 directed to the wsjt-devel list.

This is because document links on the web get harvested by spammers and
I would prefer to keep my callsign email address relatively spam free
 for as long as possible.
