Hi Mike, Uwe, It worked. I set parameter 109 from DATA to USB, but still had no output. Then searched a bit further and saw parameter 106 SSB MIC select. This was on MIC and should be on rear. USB audio still works, but not the two USB serial ports. Fortunately, the RS232 socket of my FT-991 still works well. That's the reason why I am using this now (meaning that I need a second cable besides a USB cable which is still necessary for the USB audio connection). But the connectivity of the FT-991 is identical for RS232 and the virtual USB COM port (also the settings within WSJT-X). It goes internally to the same I/O chip. Shut down WSJTX. Rename C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\WSJT-X\WSJT-X.ini Then start WSJTX again -- it will be new config. See if that fixed the problem. Hi Uwe, I have used the same serial port for CAT (no PTT) and DTR or RTS for PTT with my FT1000MP, but of course you can’t have at the same time a hardware flow control. 73 Reino OH3mA I use CAT. Hello Rudy, Your settings for the FT-991 seem to be fine. I have the same settings here (and 028=RS232C), and everything works well. How is your PTT connected? I use CAT. If you have DTR or RTS selected, make sure the COM port for that is different from the CAT serial port. Is COM3 the right one? Hello, today I tried to install WSJT-X v2.7.0-rc2 on my laptop Windows10 and connect via CAT to my Yaesu FT991. But I get the following error message in WSJT-X.
