[xmail] Windows 2000 Event Log
Hi, is there a way to stop Xmail from making entries into the windows 2000 event log? It rapidly fills up with errors for each mail problem from Xmail and I have to empty it every few days when it fills up. Heya, I first installed XMailvas it is described in the readme and got above error so I followed the howto by Richard Downing with the same results. Both times I used the Admin Protocol (via putty) to setup the accounts/domains. The *only* way you can get this behaviour is a SysSendFile() failing. And it is *really* strange. Try to open SysDepLinux.cpp and comment ( or remove ) : #define USE_SENDFILE And rebuild the whole thing : $ make -f Makefile.lnx clean $ make -f Makefile.lnx Then stop XMail, copy the new executables over and restart XMail. Cool, it works now. Thanks alot ! Let me drop this is my queue that maybe it'll pop up later on :) Ok, it is not that bad but it was very handy to have tab files per domain in previous versions. That way I easily could test my AV filter on my test domain without having it in the production area. May be it is an idea that when a filter exits with a special errorcode XMail does not process the next filter in the list. SpamAssassin Filter v1.1 v1.1 will not work with Xmail 1.14, a new version will be released shortly. I really should do more research before asking a load of silly questions :) -Mensaje original- De: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] nombre de Davide Libenzi Enviado el: Friday, April 04, 2003 8:31 PM Para: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Asunto: [xmail] Re: Migrating Filters from prior versions On Fri, 4 Apr 2003, Andrew Joakimsen wrote: Actually it was working fine!
