 Hi,
What is the default interfaces content, in xubuntu, in order to
 restore it?
Because I've put the mess in it.
I would like it to be compliant with the graphical network manager in
 xubuntu.

Unfortunately I'm not at my home computer right know, so I can't check, but
there's no need to anyway, because a little bit of Googling turned it up:

http://david.decotigny.free.fr/libre/ibook2-debian/etc/network/interfaces

You need at least this I believe:

# The loopback interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

PS: what is the network manager in xubuntu? I mean the name of the
 package...

In Feisty it's in xubuntu-system-tools:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/cgi-bin/search_packages.pl?keywords=xubuntu-system-toolssearchon=namessubword=1version=allrelease=all
Gutsy, for now, uses gnome-system-tools:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/cgi-bin/search_packages.pl?keywords=gnome-system-toolssearchon=namessubword=1version=gutsyrelease=all

But that will be replaced by network-manager.

Oh, now I see the problem - I didn't even notice that our stuff was
branched, so we kept working on trunk. please get it from

  https://docteam.ubuntu.com/repos/trunk

ant it should look better.

I have just looked but I am not sure what the best thing to do it right
now. I see rosetta streing freeze is in 11Oct (4 Oct is for non langpack
freeze) so do I understand correctly there's another week for
translators in Rosetta if the pot files get in because of today's upload?

I replaced ntfs-3g with ntfs in that file but gnome-mount still wants
to use ntfs-3g to mount NTFS partition. Do you have any other idea or
shall I file a bug report?

better ask in ubuntu-users this is not xubuntu specific, and they may
know more.
