[Zappa-List] At The Olympic ebay 1970

2006-06-04 Thread Glen Young
Just in case anyone is feeling brave I've just noticed that this slab of
multi-coloured vinyl purported to be on TMOQ (although it doesn't look like
a TMOQ cover),is currently at $531 or £282.19 on ebay from a Canadian
seller.

And no I haven't made a bid ;-)

[Zappa-List] Re: Please wait VO - Zappa Halloween QuAUDIOPHILIAc DVD audio discs burned to CD Audio

2006-06-04 Thread Guy
That's understandable and reasonable Jim.
I do own these and have been bothered that I can't play them
anywhere other than my livingroom.
So I'm OK with keeping it to other A-DVD owners just looking to dub
to a different format for convenience.
If I recieve these, I'll follow that path.

As the initial reaction came from the UK, I'm going to 'hoppinate' this

2006-06-04 Thread Jim L

Yes I think eventually
we should do a vine from this tour for sure. I’ve read several reports
that DZ isn’t much of a front man but he does seem to have Frank’s
voice.

A possible vine then, Jim?

I, for one, am interested; I know there are others...

(Hey others, please don't "sign up" to this message; please
wait for an actual vine post. Thanks.)

Yes and it’s
extremely well seeded just now for maximum download speed. Thanks for the tip
SOFA. This one is of course another audience recording. Probably too much to
hope for a soundboard recording of this tour but one never knows. The first one
sounded good for an audience although there is a bit more room ambiance than I
like. I’ll have this one in about an hour to compare.
