Call me sad, (and I'm sure you will) but I think the theme tunes to both
Knight Rider, Street Hawk and Airwolf were infulenctial in putting me on a
path towards electronic music.
O.T.. Speaking of Knight Rider, someone posted this link to me a few days
ago.
Its for a David hasselhoff CD. Some of
this is diy ska:
general rudie (montreal) on stomp records - traditional ska
with lots of keyboards and efx
too short notice from NJ
project akimbo from pontiac, mi - has a phaser!
and anki miyamoto (live dub)
@ indigo bar - 3141 caniff - hamtramck mi
music @ 8 / $6 / all ages welcome
I interviewed Shawn about a year ago
I wish you could all listen to his audio that we had up, but its
temporarily down. His work is absolutely beautiful.
Shawn will be in NYC on Thursday, July 25 @ open air if any ny-ers
wanna check him out.
dunno how to classsify this tune - tech house, maybe? - dunno really- no
idea when it came out - i heard it the other night @ a beach party - it has
samples of a guy saying stuff like:
are you happy with your life? do you have a life? or are you just living?
are you happy with the people
the track is Transition off the latest UR release UR-3000
Inspiration/Transition.
great record!

'end title blade runner' was re-released in 1991 on zyx. it's a four track

made it to the 313 list. my e-mail program was sending them in rich-text
format, which the server does not like or accept (possibly they had a
dispute at one time or another??). anyway if this makes it, someone PLEASE
do
THIS LIST ONLY ACCEPTS PLAIN TEXT MSGS.

I concur. Exit is one of my favorite Tangerine Dream albums as well. Used
to hear this at the dentists office as a kid; it sounded pretty bugged out
when I was tanked on nitrous :)

just got a copy of the hawtin/bug
'zombie track'- as my roommate called it.
total 7am,light outside, still dark in the party tune. lots of smoke and a
few faceless souls wandering around the dance floor.
actual sound- supercatchy rolling bass line with typical sparse beats.
probably only 110bpm
