I'm a freak. I disagree with everyone so far. :) My recommendation would
be
to get different headphones for home listening and DJing.
just like me. for home use (producing, listening) i've got Beyerdynamic
DT 331's and for DJ and other occasional use i've got Sony MDR-V500's
i have Sennheiser
I am sorry this off topic I just have to say my heart goes out to all those

I am shocked but not if you know what I mean.

for the a-side we are told to listen at 45rpm, which sounds right, but
then the b-side sounds way more like it's supposed to be played at 33.
That'll be because it is supposed to be played at 33... :)
Is it possible to make vinyl in such a way that one side is 45 and the other
33?
Yeah -
Also, that's Pole's music in the current Levis ad on UK TV, right? The one
with all the models rubbing themselves on the ground?
Yeah, it's 'Taxi' from the yellow (third) album...
See http://www.commercialbreaksandbeats.co.uk for all your UK advert track
ID needs :)

dunno what tune it is, but as far as i can hear from the short segment, it
sounds more like two tracks at the same time, and the piano part sounds
somewhat like octave one.
but i could be way off...

Personally speaking, and I know you probably won't agree, but I was given
some Beyerdynamic DT150's (the black ones) and they sound great, have
replaceable parts, and are very hard wearing. A bit expensive, though.

If it's an ep which contains 'Northern Lights' then I'm (still) feeling it
too. It's coming up to a decade old now, isn't it? I guess that's a
definition of timeless!

I was at Oberlin for one year with Morgan.
Kym and Dave of the now-defunct Spelunk Records were also there at the
time. They now spin electro in and around NYC and I'm sure they are still
producing though I don't know that they have released anything recently.

Just a quickie to file my report on Scott McGill T-Funkshun's new

music in Liverpool, and they're a great bunch - I had a great time on Friday

You must have tiny ears... The whole of the exposed part of my ear doesn't fit

How are they compared to programs abroad?

Wildly off-topic by this point but...
The soundtrack which was released for this film is totally different to the
actual score, they've re-worked most of the tracks, rapped over them, that
kind of thing. It's pretty good, mind, but it missed a few ace tracks (esp.
