Hello,
If anyone is bored and wants to help me out, I'm trying to identify a
few tracks off of the paxahau set archives. (www.paxahau.com/node)
1. Jimmy Edgar's set dated 8-9-03, roughly 13:00 min into the set.
2. Drew Maddox, 10-30-03, roughly from 5:00 min to 10:00 min into the set.
That,
Dan Bell made an appearance on my radio show this past January.
Unfortunately, I couldn't keep the set up for very long because I ran out of
bandwidth. Now that I've got more capacity, I have re-posted it again only
it is now at 96k. The original was 64k so sound quality should be a bit
improved

Not sure if anyone had seen this, I thought it was
worth mentioning.
Where and when? That website doesn't seem to have any information
about the event...

ha!
It appears to be at 1015 Folsom Friday (tonight).
I'm coincidentally going to be in meetings in SF so I may
stop in. But 1015 which was truly a great club in the
early 1990s is just a horrid meat market now.

I had a think about this. Am I right in thinking that Blaze have not
played out for years, if ever? Maybe they did at one point, but I can't
recall the last time I ever heard of them doing so, singularly or
together. Live, now that would be interesting...

Ken,
I saw Blaze semi-live with a Body Soul crowd in full effect, two years ago in
Brooklyn. They were playing at Danny Krivit's then-residency at 66 Water
Street. It was pretty damn good. Can't recall the details of how they put it
all together unfortunately but I remember the result was
Oh cool. Someone get 'em over here! :-) Also, get Tortured Soul while
your at it. They were very impressive at the Big Chill.

Friday's at 1015 have been getting less meat markety and security is a little
less bitchy. Though it's still mostly breaks and some techno.
Next Saturday I would recommend checking out Pheek at Kontrol
