Been a while since I've posted...but there's a new sonic sunset mix

Done with Ableton Live, but it's one take, no tweaks.

Interesting - a Henry Cullen mix of Laurie Anderson - he's D.A.V.E The
Drummer, purveyor of bangin' acid techno for dirty squat parties - it's
not anything like that is it?

It's exactly like that ;-) I know Dave and Roland the Bastard because
they've played in Iowa City a couple of times. Not Detroit techno by
any means, and not normally my sort of thing, but I have a lot of
respect for their working class, unpretentious dedication to their
craft. That and their
I wasn't aware Tom had a problem with Tejada. I can see how Tejada
isn't Tom's style, though. I think he's a freakin monster of a
producer and DJ. And I don't know how someone could be into Dan Bell
and not be into Tejada -- they're not the same obviously, but they

I think it was allowed because there are a couple of almost vinylistic

I love vinyl but
1) I'm old and have a herniated disc in my back and I'm not crazy
about lugging a record box.
2) I have too much going on in my life to practice with turntables
enough to get beyond the mechanics
Fair enough, still sounds good to me.
Roll on the weekend Have a good one, all.

some pointers on any decent house/tech clubs and record stores?
Thanks,

Herculese and Love Affair is the new hot topic in hipster pop music --
they do a pretty decent job of recycling late disco/early house sounds
for kids who were still in diapers the first time around. And they
got Anthony Hegarty to sing on some of the tracks and I love his
voice. But they totally
