It may be grim here in NY town, but thank god we have the T&B guys. Look

So some friends were in town and wanted to go out and were excited to hear that
Stacey was in town for a night at the Sullivan Room. The five of us got there
early and luckily avoided the $15 admission (saved $75) The Sullivan Room is
closing for a bit to do some renovations, I think a new sound
Anyone else read the there will be importing support for iTunes? Wonder if this
will save burning and importing runaround.
Also is Beatport very 313 stocked? I've not taken much time to see what labels
are on it. Anyone got anyone good recommendations from that site?
One more thing...Satellite

Great show last night by Amp and the gang at SOB's. I missed Tortured Soul,
they must have started playing really early. DJ True was spinning a mix of
downtempo and soulful house...sketchy mixing but the crowd didn't seem
affected. Amp went on at around 11pm and played for roughly an hour and fo
marathon.hey, I've got one of those releasessomewhere. Seem to remember
it being sort of hi-nrg sounding. It's from the late 80's I think. I'll have to
dig it up and give it a listen again. Just remember the cover has a satellite
photo of global wind patterns on it.
Very different from
"Gospel house" ??? First time I see mention of that, could it be possible to
name some good records of that genre ?
thanks !

Also have a look for anything from Seekness. I've got the Devious Destiny
album from '95 on Re-Load Ambient around somewhere and it's pretty dark
stuff. Some of it is on tap with what Foetus used to do with sound collages
and the always interesting Skinny Puppy 'Braps'

I was there and stayed for about half of Hood's set. It was put together by
Todd Sines and held at the Coral Room which for those who haven't heard
about it, features a HUGE tank
Yea' I just got this too and I think it'll be doing a lot of damage around the
clubs here in NYC. Anyone else hear some 'Video Crash' on the A side?
Also of note but not so 313 is the new Pepe Braddock...can't remember the title
but search it out as well.

I also saw the crews and the promo for the film [313]Techno on the big screen
before Gary Martin played. Guess something is in the works. There was a small
blurb on the bottom of the Movement afterparty that said it was the preview
party for a film as well. I only stayed till 4:30, did they show
Back in Cleveland for a day of recovery before the final leg of my journey back
home to Brooklyn. Had a really great weekend in Detroit at the festival and the

from my point of view but overall I think everyone enjoy

The '01 313 List shirts were limited to a run of about 500 each. Thanks to your
support they sold out at the Record Time tent during the fest. A few lucky
folks got some 'test' shirts printed on different color T's. Mike Himes (RT
owner) generously funded the venture and did it pretty much at co
I seem to remember someone asking for a review on the Jelinek/Fehlmann

These four guys started off and two were on laptops and the other two were on
guitars. The hour or so 'set' was pretty freeform and moved between su
Richie Hawtin (now being in NYC) has a special unplugged set planned performed
by all the kids who drum on plastic buckets in Times Square. I also heard
members of Stomp are being flown in.

Alex Patterson has always been a fav of mine for far reaching dj sets. He even
plays 313 material here and there. Can't get enough of the tea time sessions on
groovetech and he did a great set here in nyc at the knitting factory last year.

Apologies for those outside of the NYC area.Since our friends over in the

was due. I'm throwing a party this Saturday (march 15th) for my belated
birthday and I wanted to open it up for anyone on the list to join
Bit of a tech post but figured some folks out there might want to see the
latest bit of gear from Vestex. Interesting concept and the multi camera work
on the video is neat.
