I agree, i only asked mills because I have always been fascinated with
that specific sound he use's, but that type of filtering and layer of
certain effects could really help me out in experimenting with other
sounds and creating new pieces of music for myself...Im just gaining
more knowledge.

I have a 909 a 309 quasimidi that i use on a daily basis. I would be
lost with out either of them. I layer both of them with 3 different
effects processors and they sound amazing. I've used a Novation
DrumStation as well and i liked the way it handled. But out of any of
the Novation
I use a quasimidi 309 in my music and I love it, It definitely adds
some great background to my tracks. I especially like adding a external
effects processor to it along top of the effects it comes with
