When Dan Bell was in NYC a couple of weeks ago he started off with the Live
in LA version. Man I love this track and love to play it ;)! I found my copy
at Satellite records for $6 a couple years back, it's all black with a blue
moodyman face stamped on it.

Laurent played here last night in NYC for a closing party at centro-fly. He
started off with some nice F-comm stuff, acid, detroit-ish techno.. Then
moved into more melodic / deep music off and on with chordy head noddin
music. When 4 rolled around he was banging out Front 242, nine inch nails,
Sorry to take away from all this fun talk about the legalese of samples
and records that people on this list don't actually own.. but ...
I just picked up one of the new theo - natural aspirtaions with Split Me
Open
on it, such a beautiful track. Anyway, they have all three at dancetracks
in
There's a long standing joke about the same 20 people coming out to hear
fill in your fav techno dj here play in NYC ;(
It's even been written in the village voice, so sad. What makes it so sad is
that it's so very true... and getting worse because some of the 20 have
moved to Berlin.

Miss kitten made a fan out of me, nothing electoclash about her set when she
played here in nyc w/ mayer a few weeks ago. she played some hard as nails
techno and i would even go as far as to say that she played more diverse and
interesting than mayer.
As for the hipsters, it's nice to have new
I have this on cd, picked it up at dancetracks a few years ago. Definitely
some dope tracks on it...
btw theo starts his monthly tonight @ APT in nyc! yeah.. morgan geist is

What can I expect from John Beltran ? He's dj'ing tonight here in nyc at
APT.
Also, to bump up the Theo percentage, there's a solid rumour going round
that he's starting a monthly here in NYC at APT !! ;))

Pom Pom guys are anonymous, somewhere out of Berlin. I got turned onto the
label when I was in Koln a couple of years back.. Weird fascinating music
though, somewhere left of center.
I have pom pom 3, 5, 9, 10. All of these are great.
If you like pom pom, you should also check Plong. Plong guys
Try 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9.
I almost always try and work 5 into a set, has these great eerie chords,
deep base. 9 is on the new mayer mix, both sides are good. Love Me !

I forgot to mention 12, the long side has a spooky speaker pushing stomper.
Super unique sound. Other side has a nice melodic cut.

Anyone know anything about this release? Says it was released Feb 12, but I
can't find it online anywhere and haven't seen it in any of the NYC shops.
