documented past..the Detroit Free Press put together

i'm not sure about the old motown studio, but there are a few of the old
recording studios on second between i-94 and grand boulevard that may still
be open.
there is also a motown museum located on grand boulevard west of woodward
that is open at very obscure times
nice photos as well as several good articles about
how those West Grand records were recorded and mixed. They offer some food
for though for newbie engineers.
