The important pullout details for those who didn't read the article:
Ignition 2003, an exhibit kickoff party at the Roostertail at 8 p.m.
Friday will include appearances by Juan Atkins, Eddie Fowlkes, Electrifying
Mojo and Keith
Wow - Electrifying Mojo will be playing. Since I'm not a Detroit resident I
don't know this but does he still DJ on the radio?
If anyone should play DEMF he should.

Oof. Just read the lineup. Anyone else out there feel that overall it's a
little hurtin'? Who *are* some of these folks? And why DiGiorgio and
Jazzanova 2x on the same day? Couldn't they find anyone else to fill those
slots?
Sorry. Rainy and damp in NYC and in a bitchy mood. Maybe Happy Hour
There's some weird stuff in the Freep schedule, like Ibex appearing
for 5 half-hour slots in the Underground on Sunday.
Anyone else read this in today's Freep?

It's great to see this kind of positive coverage in the Freep, at last.
Especially for the Burdens, who deserve every bit of respect.
It was an honor to see Octave One playing live at the 430 West party,

On Octave One talk, can anybody tell me what, if any, connection's
Drexciya/Octave One have? I know about the many Drexciya offshoots, but I
wonder if any of

Good article, but there's a few discrepancies:
1. Fashion policy @ Pure. vs Last quotation from Lulgjuraj.
2. What are Detroit clubs missing, specifically?
3. What is making the 'dance club scene' energized? $$?
4. Clubs like Lush and Velvet, who're known for their live band performances

Agreed. If I was interested in becoming a male model, I'd have
to spend even more $$ on clothing and the gym than I do on
music. Unacceptable trade-off.
