Congrats to Yin-sight, if anyone can pull this off Mrs Laura is the one
I hope the many 'comments' about this wind up eating those words!
ALSO many do not realize ::: Jeff didnt cancel the last Detroit gig
It was the promotion people !!! He himself said that,( hopefully we all
realize) this
Hmmm. Hope this happens!

THE WIZARD-- JEFF MILLS
Thursday, MARCH 1, 2001
State Theatre
2115 Woodward Ave.
After sending my last e-mail, maybe I should explain myself better.
I don't know anything about the promoters of this and I wasn't casting
aspersions on them. I just know that Mills is at best ambivalent about
appearing in the US, and that his manager simply won't entertain the idea
at all ...
This is an event that could ONLY happen here. This is a one time
opportunity to see a side of a Detroit legend only spoken about in nostalgic
terms
I'm sure he won't cancel this time!

at all ...
Jeff played in NYC a couple of months ago.

Yeah, that's very cool as well. I think that he's established a relationship
with a venue in NYC (Twilo? don't know) that he's comfortable with, but
in general he has demonstrated
I think Mills played at the Limelight on Nov 22 or 23 (the day
before Thanksgiving)... apparently the Limelight people have
been improving the place...
