Yeah this is a VERY hard question. I think I’ll choose the one track that
turned me onto this music, because if not for this, I may have totally missed
out on a load of great music. It was - Intellitronic - Pixel.
First heard it on radio in Adelaide, Australia on the China Syndrome show which
Boy oh boy, hard to narrow it down to just one track...
Some Contenders:
Rhythin is Rhythim - Icon
Rhythim is Rhythim - Kao-tic Harmony
Yennek - Serena X
Kenny Larkin - Aurora
Never On Sunday - Urban Rains
Claude Young - Welfare Cheese
Shop - Nitwit
Kenny Larkin - Java
Claude Young - Wind Up
DBX - Science Fiction
BFC - Galaxy
Millsart - Capricorn
That's about as close as I can get to a one Detroit techno favorite of all
time.

I'd say it's not the great track 'Don't You Want It' by UR (yes!) feat. Davina.
The other lyrics don't seem to fit how I remember it.
But maybe I better dig out my copy before I say for sure.

I think Ken is right. Based on youtube clips of the (also totally
awesome) Davina track, the cut that Omar S played is a completely
different horse, though with some similarities.

no, it's a completely different track, the main lyric is similar but
completely different phrasing and melody. the accent on davina's lyric
is on the don't, whereas the accent on the track that omar played is
on the want. also davina never says need or feel, just want.
