Well,
Perhaps it's time to move 'chatty' discussion to ag-users? You can find

This would help keep ag-tech more technical (aka, terse, but valuable :-).

Howdy,
Tonight is the night for announcements, I guess.
For those of you at the AG Retreat you saw the presentation about the
integration of Jabber with the AG2 venue client. We're planning on that
integration being part of the 3.0 development cycle. In order to prepare for
that we're putting u

An update on the transitional plan, so you can all gauge how it's going.
We're planning on having the new Institutional Venue Service up and running
by labor day, and then to have people request new venues immediately. We
will turn off/remove AG1 institutional venues on 10/1.
The core v
This is precisely how the latest shared presentation tool works, what
version of the toolkit are you running?

Hey Fred,
I don't know the correct answer -- yet. We have one of these cards on order
as well so we can correctly support it in the near future.

Hi Jon,
We have one of these cards on order to ensure we can make it work
seamlessly. We don't have the hardware to figure out the right
auto-detection solution yet.
Sorry about that.

That's required by the certificate repository underneath our toolkit.

The event and text, usually ports x002 and x004 are done via GSITCP so they
are never multicast, or unicast udp.
It must be something else.

Howdy,
If you are interested in running a bridge for SC Global this year please
contact me so we can work out the details. Currently we have a bridge
running at ANL, but it would be excellent to have geographically distributed
bridges running. I'd love to have volunteers from Australia, Asia, Eur

Hey Randy,
The bridge was restarted providing unicast, and as far as text, if you are
using 2.1.2 it's a client problem, not the server. Upgrading to 2.2 will fix
it.

The first and most important thing is that you can't telnet into the
services we've built. They are using the the certificates to negotiate
secure encrypted communication. As such, the first thing that needs to
happen is a protocol negotiation (that's binary I believe, or at least
opaque).
