As per your querry,the shart command for adding-up the previous
coloums or rows.
In the cell where the formula has to be put, simply press Alt+equal
sign and hit enter on it.
You will get the required result.
For example:

I can answer your question on excel.
You have to ensure that all the cells from B2 to B9 are having values.
If yes then go to cell B10 and press alt+= and then press enter. (make sure
that jaws reads the range b2 to b9 before you press enter)
The value in B10 is now the sum of range B2 to b9

I am using Dell Inspiron 14 R laptop with windows 7 OS. I am able to
disable the touch pad by using the key right to the F12 key and the
function key. The same key is used to enable the touch pad.
