Yes, the books are accessible with adobe reader and jaws.
But, the quantity of graphics is so much that they are almost inaccessible to a
blind reader.

In Acrobat reader, There is an option under files labelled save as text.
If you save it as text, all graphics will be deleted from the saved document.

Yes, books can be saved as text, and read without graphics.
But many a times, graphics form the core of explanation.
It is okay to illustrate even the simplest of sentences for a sighted student
by giving a picture, but it is another thing to ask questions like see the
picture and answer...

chapter on every page.
While reading through a speech synthesizer, after every now and then, the
