Personally speaking, I have replaced my SIM card a couple of times with
Airtel and Jio. I never faced such issues. Jio specifically, they get your
Aadhaar card and biometrics. It's very, very straightforward. I've never
had an issue.

Which field are you trying to update? Try changing 1 field at a time
instead of altering multiple fields in one go. I suppose, altering some
fields can be done at Adhar centres. I understand it can also be done by
postman, however, you have to be at the postoffice before 9 AM.
