According to IBA circular for Banking facilities for blind dated 18 11
2008, which provides procedural instruction regarding the opening of
account of blind person.
Under section (I) point 3, All Banks must provide the same facilities
to a visually impaired customer/prospective customer
So long as the undertaking is restricted to reading out the terms and
conditions, it would have been fine. But in the absence of standard
prescription, legal heads have applied their brains differently. Write to:
