So I wanted to know if I can just go ahead and buy a policy of my choice
through online or offline mode?
Or are there any factors/Ristrictions which I need to be aware as a visually
impaired person before buying health insurance?

Online policy ordinarily will not be processed automatically once we
write about our disability condition. In any case, my personal advice
from the practical point of view is to send your proposal form in
offline mode along with the disability certificate.

No guidelines frfom IRDA except that the Rural Insurance Regulations
recognize disability as one of the category of insured. There is no
denial, just that in case of online issuance they can't insert
additional riders relating to disability as the document is standard
policy.
